Gaps
A member of the family of Solitaire games that reveal all the cards in the layout.
Into each available space move the next higher in suit to the card at the left.
A space at the left of a row can only be filled with a deuce (2).
No card may be moved into the space to the right of a King.
Golf
What seems like a simple game of sequence building to a single foundation becomes more challenging when you must decide between two cards. Choose wisely.
Cards can be played to the foundation in sequence, up or down, regardless of suit.
Sequence is not circular and nothing can be built on a King.
Klondike
Klondike, often known purely by the name Solitaire or Patience, is probably the best-known solo card game and one of the hardest to win when played by the rules.
Foundations are to be built up in suit from Ace to King.
Tableau piles can be built down in rank and alternating colors.
Face-up cards can only be moved as a unit.
Spaces can only be filled with Kings.
Cards are dealt from the hand singly.
No re-deals are permitted.
Pyramid
Probably the second most popular game of solitaire due to its interesting layout and simple rules.
Discard Kings singly and all others from the hand, stock or tableau in pairs totaling 13 (Jacks count as 11, Queens count as 12).
Solitaire (Patience)
Just like the Solitaire game that comes with Windows. A variation of Klondike that's easier to win due to the relaxed rules.
Foundations are to be built up in suit from Ace to King.
Tableau piles can be built down in rank and alternating colors.
All face-up cards (in whole or in part) can be moved as a unit.
Spaces can only be filled with Kings.
Cards are dealt from the hand in sets of three with unlimited re-deals.
Spider
One of the most popular double-pack games with interesting tableau building rules.
Tableau piles can be built down in rank regardless of suit.
A descending sequence in suit can be moved in whole or in part.
A space made by the removal of an entire pile may be filled with any available card or unit.
After play is blocked tap the deck to deal another row of cards to the tableau.
Yukon
Popular for its flexibility in moving cards around the layout. Unlike Klondike there is no Stock from which to draw cards, all cards are laid out in the Tableau.
Foundations are to be built up in suit from Ace to King.
Tableau piles can be built down in rank and alternating colors.
Partial piles may be moved as a unit.
Spaces can only be filled with Kings.
